Ensure your important data is in a safe place
If you have a lot of customized data that is not yet in a migration path, you should run the migrations. If you want to run a migration before the upgrade, you might want to enable the migration path on the “Modules” menu of your instance menu in Odoo v.13.
- After that, you can run the migration, which will store your data in the “_MODULE_MIGRATION_DATE_” tables.
