Location wise Stock transfer in Retail POS

The Purpose of the location wise stock transfer screen is to transfer stock from one location to another location.

This screen is useful when the same company has different location and wants to maintain location wise stocks & sales of inventory items.
System will have default one main location in location master.
Required locations are created in location master which is under tools modules by user.

Business rules

There should be the location wise stock transfer screen under inventory, user should go to that location wise stock transfer screen.
Then user should select the location from the location master to transfer stock from main location to selected location.
After selecting the location, user should load the product details by searching or scanning.
Then enter the qty of the each loaded item to transfer.
After entering all the required details save transferred stock by pressing the function key “save”. Then the stock transfer no will get generated.
When the location wise stock transfer is saved, the stock from the existing location will be reduced and its moved to the above selected location.
User can switch the location and use the transferred stock for sales or any other transaction.
Stock can be transferred only to the existing locations which is saved in location master.
Stock can be transferred only to the same company’s location.
